I'm a football-loving, Manchester City-mad, darts-playing, forty-plus year old, juggling a part time job as an orthotics officer at the local hospital, my own business as a Medical Herbalist, running a home, and being a wife and mother. Oh, and I better not forget - writing my blog on a semi-regular basis!

I live in the North East of England in a chaotic household consisting of myself, my gorgeous (younger) husband Billy, my 20 year old son Stephen, 18 year old daughter Nel, my brother-in-law Raji and the three cats Timmy (an 8 year old tabby whose twin brother Garfield appears to have wandered off), Zeb and Zara (18 month old RSPCA rescue kittens.) Nel also has a dwarf hamster called Nel (!The hamster was named Nel before daughter changed her own name to same!) and she wants to get a German Shepherd as soon as she can afford it!

I am a Manchester City season card holder - married to a Newcastle United season ticket holder! Weekends can be fun and sometimes we're ships that pass in the night. Christmas is arranged around our Boxing Day fixtures! Son and Brother-in-Law are Newcastle fans also. Daughter HATES football with the passion with which I love it! :(

I have a mum (Palace fan) who lives 3.5 hours drive away and whom I try to see regularly as we're very close, and my brother Rick (City fan also)lives in the south east with his lovely wife Mel and my 14 year old nephew Jay (brought up Blue but not particulalry into football at the moment!)

Besides going to football matches, I also play darts in the local pub league on Friday nights. We're not great (though we have our moments) but I love my team mates and we always have a laugh regardless.
